Mason looked  at her.  “ are you sure  about that because  you don’t  look  alright?  I know you may not want to tell me as I’m a kid, but you should really tell someone.

“ I  never said  or assumed  you weren’t,  but you can still do your best while having  a moment of weakness,  you can still  do your best  and  admit  to someone  you need help,  you can still do your best and then need  someone to talk to at the end of the day.  You’re  human  at the end of the day.”

“So,  you’re  saying  my  best is crap,”
Teddy spat.  Fingers  twining  in   her
hair  as  though  she  were  intent  on
ripping it out, she sunk to the  ground
