“I’ve never looked my age. I was 20 and in med school and they thought I was 12. Many times they’d stop me in the hall and ask, “What are you doing here, kid?” It was horrible… Well, anyway, I’m pretty positive we’re around the same age,” she grinned at her and tried to stop rambling. “Where do you want these charts? Ah, yes, I am on the payroll,” she laughed again, “Dr. Hunt put me on yesterday. How long have you worked with him?” she asked.

“Right here is fine, thanks. Oh, Owen? God, I’ve been working with him for longer than I care to admit. I’ve been here in Seattle for a couple years now, but Owen and I served in the army for what — five, six years before that? Anyway, you could say that I’m getting pretty sick of him,” she joked. “What about you? You must know Owen or somebody high up  pretty  d a r n  well to get a job here at such short notice.”
