“Ah yes, Owen can keep ulterior motives quiet when he wants to. It’s his fatal flaw, in my opinion,” Scarlett chuckled softly and then asked, “Iraq, right?”

“Yeah,” Teddy grinned wistfully. “There are many things I miss about that place, but definitely not the heat. And then there are other things that I don’t miss at all…” Her voice trailed off as she started remembering, but Teddy had always managed to smile through it.
